Set in a futuristic L.A, check out this awesome teaser trailer and cool concept art for the new sci-fi short movie, ?2088?.?The project is being directed by?Steven Ilous?and produced by the VFX house?SMI Entertainment.
Although it?s a very short tease, the designs and visuals that we do get to see are sweet looking. Short indie films, especially science fiction ones, are thriving lately, with loads of great concepts coming from small production companies that all seem to get a high-value feel to each one of their original projects ? Check out some more links for previous sci-fi shorts that we posted after the trailer.
The ?found cam footage? that we are shown in the film, says it?s from LAPD?s Non-Human Crimes Division, which is probably what the story will revolve around. This short description came with the short, but it doesn?t shed any light on any plot details?
The challenge: To produce, direct and write a transmedia sci-fi/drama property that will entice audiences from all around the world, allowing people to experience this story through multi-platform touch points.
